Sound Masking
Is your room an open space? Is it too noisy? Distracting? Or was it designed to be quiet, too quiet? Are the cubicle walls low? If so, sound masking is a potential solution. Sound masking, known as “white noise” or “pink noise,” produces a unique digital sound that is amplified through speakers. Ideally, it provides privacy and makes the environment more comfortable and more productive. In short, sound masking often saves construction or retrofit costs and increases productivity and, therefore, the bottom line.
Privacy is necessary in a wide variety of circumstances and is sometimes required by laws such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act of 1996). Sound masking provides that privacy.
Sound masking systems, if desired, can incorporate paging and music systems.
