Drew University: Learning, Art, and Technology

In coordination with Aramark project managers and electrical workers, PMI designed and implemented a dynamic environment for students using technology to improve the dissemination of information, making learning more productive and enjoyable.

In addition to modifying classrooms for progressive learning, PMI installed a state-of-the-art audio and visual control center inside the new Dorothy Young Art Center.

Intercom System

Considering the need for instant and reliable communication between actors, stagehands, and directors, PMI designed a Clearcom 37 station professional grade theatre intercom system in both the main stage and green room that have been used by amateur and professional productions with resounding success.

Crestron Control System

An easy to use touch panel control center
offers these features:

There are preset functions that are assigned to the main configurations.
There are individual area volume controls; however, they can be overridden by the control booth.

Display System

The display system provides both video and computer displays.

A very bright XGA Epson projector displays computer and video images from multiple sources and from multiple input points within the room or from Smart carts.

The projector retracts into the ceiling when it is not in use.
